If your child/ren plan(s) to participate in the Scripps National Spelling Bee, they can view the site http://www.myspellit.com/index.html for a downloadable Spell It! booklet as well as other helpful information.

For Those Visiting Who are not Members of Our Group:

Our group is a growing group for independent homeschoolers in Interior Alaska.  We offer many things, including new things listed below.  Please feel free to look through our site to learn more about us.  If you're interested in joining us or have questions about joining our group, give our group leader a call at (907)-488-3784.

*A band for group member children ages ten and up! 

*Scripps National Spelling Bee participation!

*Monthly German classes for children of all ages!

*Once-a-month structured activities for families!

*Once-a-month "hangout" time for families!

*A Downhill Derby race!

*A yearbook and the learning experience of putting one together professionally!

*Local Science Fair participation!

*As always, all that our group offers remains free.  Participation in our band does require each participant to have an instrument and a beginner's band book for it, but the participation in the band is 100% free!
