Site Updates

All if God wills...

Two new pages are being added to our website: About Our Group and Homeschooling in Alaska: The Book.  They should be completed very soon.

The "About Us" page will, of course, contain information about our group as well as contact information.

The "Homeschooling in Alaska: The Book" page will contain information on and from the book Homeschooling in Alaska by Interior Alaskan educator and long-time homeschool veteran Teresa Hanson.  This book chronicles the history of Alaskan homeschooling from the 1800's through 2000.  This is a very important book for all Alaskan homeschoolers, legislators, educators, and everyone interested in or researching this piece of Alaskan history.  Purchase information and the book's full table of contents will also be on this page, as well as interesting quotes from the book.

This free book offer is only available to Alaskans.

There is also a class for prospective independent homeschoolers titled "You can Homeschool!" that will be held in late May 2010.  The class is free, as well, and in it you will learn how you can successfully independently homeschool and gain a good deal of knowledge and tips for getting off to a great start.  If you are interested in the class, e-mail our group leader by clicking below.
